ABOUT KATHY
Kathy Rosendahl began her journey in the healing arts in October of 2004. She attended courses in shamanic healingthrough The Four Winds Society and has trained as a shaman. She continues classes in shamanic healing today. Her trip to Peru in June of 2008 with the shaman brought many insights into theworld of shamanic healing.
Kathy also completed training as a Practitioner of Healing Arts. She offers many choices of massage to relieve pain and enhance well-being. She also uses a combination of all these modalities in one massage to suit the client’s needs.
Kathy is also a Reiki Master and an Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner. She attended Windemere Insititue of Healing Arts and received over 300 hours of education in Ayurveda and massage techniques to promote “the Science of Life.” Within Ayurveda, Kathy was trained in Lomi Lomi.
In 2016, Kathy was certified as a CranialSacro Therapist and has also learned new techniques in Massage for Oncology support.
An Inspiring Journey
Kathy traveled to Sedona, AZ in October 2010 to attend instruction on an exciting modality called Myofascial release (MFR) as a compliment to the benefits of massage therapy. The educational course was taught by physical therapist John Barnes, who has developed the technique of MFR.
Kathy was inspired at several of the famed Sedona Vortexes (above, left) while on an Iron Pony Tour, as well as learning about the history and folklore of the Hopi Native Americans who are native to the Sedona area.
